Why are Air Conditioner Cabin Filters Important
A/C CABIN FILTER
Not every vehicle will have a A/c cabin filter fitted. However due to their many benefits, most manufacturers now fit them to their full range of vehicles. A/C cabin or pollen filters are designed to protect your vehicles interior A/C system from airborne contaminants such as leaves, pollen, dust, soot, insects and other debris. Clean air inside the vehicle passenger compartment is very important for everyone, not just allergy sufferers. Overtime the filter becomes blocked which then reduces air flow to your a/c evaporator and out through your dash vents, which adversely affects your air conditioning performance. Replacement intervals for these vital filters will vary due to vehicle operating environment but generally most vehicle manufacturers recommend every 20,000 – 30,000km
